Used AC compressors, priced per ton
Tested, guaranteed, and available in every size from 1 to 5 ton. Because we price per ton rather than per unit, we come in well under the online sellers on anything 2019 or older — with no freight and no waiting.

Why we're cheaper than the online sellers
eBay and the surplus dealers price per unit, so a 3-ton used compressor lands at $350–$450 plus shipping, and new surplus starts around $449. We price per ton, which on anything 2019 or older comes out well below that — and there is no freight, because you collect in Orlando or we fit it for you.

FAQ
Used compressors — the honest answers
Including when a used compressor is the wrong call.
Not if the rest of the system is sound and the unit is tested — which ours are. A compressor is a sealed mechanical pump; a good used one from a system that was retired for another reason will run for years. Where it stops making sense is on a system that is already 18 years old with a corroded coil, because you would be putting a good part into a failing machine. We will tell you which situation you are in.
A new compressor installed typically runs $1,200–$2,800. A used compressor from us plus professional installation usually lands well under half that. On a 3-ton system from 2015–2017, the compressor itself is around $312 against $350–$450 on eBay before shipping, or $449+ for new surplus.
A 30-day replacement guarantee on every used compressor. If it fails within that window we replace it. Warranty applies from the date of purchase and requires that the unit was installed correctly — a compressor fitted without a proper vacuum and correct charge will fail regardless of its condition when it left us.
Both. Plenty of contractors and handy homeowners collect and fit their own. We also install, which includes proper evacuation verified with a micron gauge, a new filter drier, and a weighed-in charge. Installation carries its own labour warranty on top of the part guarantee.
Often, yes. R-22 has been out of production since 2020, so used R-22 compressors are increasingly scarce and increasingly valuable — for a lot of older Orlando systems it is the only economical way to keep them running. Call and tell us your model number and we will check.
It is on the data plate of your outdoor unit, and it is usually encoded in the model number — divide the BTU figure by 12,000. If you read us the model number over the phone we will identify it for you in about a minute.
Yes. 10% off at 5+ units, 15% at 10+, and custom wholesale pricing above 20. Local stock means no freight cost and no waiting on a shipment. Property managers and HOAs replacing across multiple units get the same treatment.
Past the point of repair?
If the system is old enough that a new compressor is throwing money at it, we have complete Goodman systems in stock — 14.3 SEER2, R-32, with a 10-year parts warranty.
